1st Fridays

Tell me more

Grab your friends and head to historic downtown Springfield, TN, to enjoy live music, food trucks, a kids’ zone, specialty vehicle cruise-in, plus shopping with 80+ local farmers, artists, makers, boutiques and your favorite downtown merchants. This beloved event has been charming visitors since 2017, growing in popularity each year! The best part: proceeds from this event are dedicated to the beautification of our historic downtown and beyond!

This event has proudly supported projects like Central Bark Dog Park, the bike racks on Main Street and 6th Avenue, decorative banners around the Springfield Town Square Historic District, the lighted Merry Christmas signage over Main Street, lighted holiday displays around the Robertson County Courthouse, installation of new power outlets at decorative light poles around downtown, and decorative Jail Alley improvements.

Vendors

Vendor Applications for the 2024 season of the 1st Fridays events opened on February 1, 2024! As of August 8, 2024, all vendor application periods have closed.

Vendor applications for the 2025 season will open in February 2025 with rolling deadlines. A completed application does not equal acceptance into the event. Vendor space is limited. We use a juried selection process for vendor selection and work hard to ensure we have a great lineup of diverse food options, makers, bakers, crafters, artists, farmers, boutiques and other local businesses.

Cruise-in

Specialty vehicles of all kinds – new trucks, old cars, fast bikes, and everything in between – are invited to show off those polished wheels, that souped up engine, and the dice on the mirror.

No pre-registration required. NEW LOCATION: Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis on Locust Street between 5th and 7th Avenues, in the northbound lane.

Vehicles may begin arriving at 5:00pm to participate. Vehicles should arrive by 6:00pm. Late entry allowance made on a case-by-case basis. Event staff reserve the right to adjust cruise-in vehicle entry and exit times. Cars should be angled to maximize the space. Preferably with the front of the car facing the street, rear bumper to the sidewalk. Vehicles may not block a street or alleyway. Due to safety concerns, once a vehicle has entered the event it must stay in place until the crowd has cleared.
