Downtown Springfield
We are excited to reveal a brand-new map of downtown Springfield! The map is printed in large scale and is visible in two locations downtown: at the corner of West Court Square and 5th Avenue and in the public parking lot on Main Street near 8th Avenue. This beautiful work of art was produced by local company Mollie B. Creative. Artists involved in creating the artistic renderings included on this map were Terri Morris, Amy DeBerry, and Shelby Dean.
The map is an artistic rendering of downtown Springfield and reflects historically relevant buildings, points of interest downtown, points of interest nearby, street names, street numbers, our city’s date of incorporation, and state symbols aligned with our community’s rich agricultural connections.
